Pemba warmly welcomes Jack Hammett to the Originate team!
Jack joined Pemba Capital Partners in 2022 to work on new portfolio business acquisitions as well as with our partnered businesses on growth opportunities through direct acquisition.
Jack has ten years of experience across investment banking, early-stage fundraising and business development. He has spent a large part of his Sydney career working with early-stage companies and growth investors on preparation and completion of fundraising rounds from Seed to pre-IPO stage. He also has local financial advisory experience with Houlihan Lokey and Luminis Partners, focused on technology and services sectors.
Before moving to Sydney in 2019, Jack worked at Moelis & Company in London, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across the technology, services and industrial sectors, from venture level to multi-billion-dollar transactions. This also involved extensive, on-site project work in the Middle East and the US.
Jack holds a MA (Oxon) in Geography from the University of Oxford.
